Established in 2005 by Nathan and Mick, Maitland Cool Rooms is a locally owned and operated business specialising in the manufacture, supply and installation of insulated panel systems.
What started as a small local business has grown through more than 20 years of experience, with Nathan continuing to lead the business today and carrying forward the foundations and reputation built alongside Mick.
We have helped customers across Newcastle, the Hunter Region and throughout NSW with everything from small DIY kit rooms and caravan annexes through to large scale commercial and industrial projects.
As a local manufacturer, we take pride in producing our own insulated panels right here in the Hunter Region. This gives us greater control over the quality, sizing and finish of our products, while allowing us to provide practical solutions for projects of all shapes and sizes.
While cool rooms and freezers are a major part of what we do, insulated panel has a huge range of applications. Over the years, our panels have been used for containment rooms, clean rooms, laboratories, offices, dog kennels, bird aviaries, caravan annexes, truck bodies, private wine cellars and many other custom applications.
We have completed projects for restaurants, wineries, service stations, universities, hospitals and other commercial and industrial facilities, with projects extending from Armidale through to Bega and across NSW.

Every project is different, which is why we offer flexible options to suit the customer.
We can supply panels and associated materials for customers who already have their own installer or tradesperson, or we can provide a complete supply and installation service.
We also supply associated aluminium products, doors, coving and other finishing components required to complete your project.
Our team has extensive experience in both panel manufacturing and installation. We understand the importance of accurate manufacturing, careful planning and quality installation, and we take pride in getting the job done properly.
We also understand that projects do not always go exactly to plan. Our experience allows us to adapt to changes and work with builders, refrigeration contractors and other trades to keep projects moving wherever possible.
Maitland Cool Rooms focuses specifically on the structural and insulated panel side of your project.
We do not provide refrigeration, electrical or plumbing services, allowing us to concentrate on what we know best: manufacturing and installing quality insulated panel systems.
Over the years, we have built strong working relationships with a number of trusted local refrigeration contractors, allowing customers to coordinate the different parts of their project with experienced trades.
After 20+ years in the industry, our reputation has been built on quality workmanship, reliable service and doing what we say we will do.
