Maitland Cool Rooms supplies custom size cool room and freezer doors in the correct thickness to match the panel specification of your room, ensuring thermal continuity across the full room envelope.

Our doors are available as swinging or sliding configurations, in standard and custom sizes, with the option to add a 600x600mm viewing window where required. Whether you’re building a new room, replacing a failed door, or upgrading an existing installation, MCR supplies doors that are engineered to perform with our panel system.

Swinging vs Sliding Doors

Swinging (Hinged) Doors

The standard configuration for most cool rooms and small-to-medium freezer rooms. Swinging doors provide a simple, reliable seal and are well-suited to rooms with standard-width openings and moderate traffic.

Sliding Doors

The preferred choice for high-traffic operations, rooms with limited clearance for door swing, or facilities using trolleys and pallet equipment. Sliding doors eliminate the swing clearance requirement and are commonly used in commercial kitchen, food processing and retail cool room applications.

Viewing Windows

The optional 600x600mm viewing window on our custom P/A doors allows staff to see into the room without opening the door — reducing cold air loss, improving energy efficiency, and supporting HACCP and food safety protocols in commercial food environments. Available on 50mm P/A door configurations.

Supply to Trade
