- Unless otherwise specified, approximately 90% of panel cutting is completed at the Maitland Cool Rooms Pty Ltd workshop to minimise noise, dust, and disruption on site.
- All wall-to-wall vertical joints and coving are sealed using antibacterial silicone.
- All coving is double sealed using Soudal SMX25 sealant to provide a durable, hygienic finish.
- Unless otherwise specified, freezer rooms include a floor heater, door heater, and pressure relief (explosion) port.
- Unless otherwise specified, cool room door frames do not include a frame heater. A frame heater can be supplied at an additional cost.
- Unless otherwise specified, freezer room floors are insulated with 75mm polyurethane (PUR) insulation and cool room floors with 75mm EPS insulation.
- Unless otherwise specified, combination rooms are constructed with a 150mm insulated partition wall.
- No concrete, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, painting, or other building works are included unless specifically stated in this quotation.
- The client is responsible for ensuring the installation area has a smooth, level, and structurally suitable floor prior to installation. Any floor preparation or rectification works required are excluded from this quotation.
- The client is responsible for ensuring the work area is clear and ready for installation, including the removal or isolation of any existing refrigeration equipment, electrical services, plumbing, shelving, or other obstructions that may interfere with the installation.
- Safe and adequate site access must be provided for the duration of the works. Additional labour, equipment, or delays resulting from restricted access may incur additional charges.
- If work cannot proceed on the scheduled installation date due to site readiness, restricted access, client delays, or third-party delays, Maitland Cool Rooms Pty Ltd reserves the right to charge reasonable rescheduling costs.
- Site-specific inductions, permits, certifications, traffic control, crane hire, elevated work platforms, or other compliance requirements not disclosed at the time of quoting are excluded and, if required, will be charged as a variation.
- This quotation is subject to site inspection where applicable. Any unforeseen site conditions or concealed defects discovered during installation that require additional labour or materials will be treated as a variation to this quotation.
- Any changes to the agreed scope of works after acceptance of this quotation will be treated as a variation and charged accordingly.
- Every care will be taken during installation; however, Maitland Cool Rooms Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for unavoidable damage to existing structures, finishes, services, or concealed building elements where removal or modification is required to complete the works.
- Manufacturer warranties apply only to new materials supplied by Maitland Cool Rooms Pty Ltd. No warranty is provided on second-hand or client-supplied materials unless otherwise stated in writing.
- A forklift must be arranged prior to delivery to unload materials, or a minimum of two people must be on site to assist with manual unloading. If these requirements are not met, Maitland Cool Rooms Pty Ltd may provide an additional employee or reschedule the delivery, with any associated labour, travel, or rescheduling costs charged to the client.
- Any penetrations made through insulated panels, ceilings, walls, floors, or doors after installation by others must be fully sealed and weatherproofed by the party carrying out the works. Maitland Cool Rooms Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for damage, moisture ingress, condensation, loss of thermal performance, hygiene issues, or panel failure resulting from unsealed or incorrectly sealed penetrations. Any warranty provided by Maitland Cool Rooms Pty Ltd on the affected panels and associated installation works will be void immediately if any penetration is made and not properly sealed by the party carrying out the works.
- A 50% deposit is required prior to commencement of works, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Maitland Cool Rooms Pty Ltd. Where a deposit is required, works will not commence until the deposit has been received.
